Little Acorns is a multifunctional community and clinic space designed to serve youth ages 12 and under with autism spectrumdisorder (ASD) or other cognitive disabilities. The 4500 SF space supports neurodivergent children’s enrichment through counseling, community building, and hands-on activities, fostering a more positive life experience in their future. The project's concept draws from a biophilic theme, with tree, root, and leaf motifs, and material schemes drawing from the different times of day to evoke different moods depending on the room's function.
