This project is a 30,000 square foot office redesign for Devsisters located in Sunnyvale, California, aimed at encouraging employees to return to the workplace post-pandemic. Inspired by the storytelling and character-driven world of Cookie Run, the design organizes the office into high-activity and low-activity zones that support a range of workstyles. Vibrant, collaborative spaces like the café and gaming lounge foster connection and energy, while quieter areas such as lounges and decompression rooms promote focus and wellness. Together, these spaces create a dynamic and engaging environment that reflects Devsisters’ creative identity and enhances the overall workplace experience.
Blush Commons is a cozy gathering space inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, designed to bring people together in a warm and welcoming environment. The space explores how architecture can create feelings of comfort and connection through soft forms, warm materials, and gentle lighting. Curved seating areas, a central hearth-like lounge, and intimate nooks encourage people to slow down, relax, and share time with others while enjoying simple comforts like gløgg and æbleskiver. Blush Commons was developed through an exploration of softness, warmth, and the idea of being held by a space, transforming a large interior into something that feels intimate, inviting, and communal.
