My class was given an audio clip out of context and our job was to develop a story and animation piece from it. Because of the clip's serious nature, I needed to commit to the tone and make a story around it. Initially I wanted it to be a ridiculous story with aliens but opted for a more serious route to fit the tone without confusing the viewer. I prioritized subtle emotions, and also showed restraint for some actions before the final payoff where she lets out a feeling of disgust.
